Job
Summary:
The Assistant
Program Director will assist the Program Director to administer the Tri
Cities program and the Special Projects programs in Tri Cities and Ridge
Meadows, according to and within the Society’s mission/values statement,
policies and procedures, treatment model and contractual obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 |
Ensure
that required training and support is in place for staff. |
 |
Assign
groups to staff and monitor case loads. |
 |
Liaise
with MCFD and community. |
 |
Submit
monthly payroll and program functioning reports to WFRS Admin and to
funders. |
 |
Work with
WFRS Admin and Program Director to monitor program budgets. |
 |
Provide
file supervision to ensure quality assurance in keeping with
accreditation standards. |
 |
Regular
attendance is required at several community meetings. |
 |
Manage
and provide supervision for Special Projects staff and assist Tri Cities
Program Director |
in carrying
out the administrative functions of the program.
 |
Report to
the Program Director on a regular basis. |
Education/Qualifications:
 |
MSW or
equivalent with 3 years experience, or BSW or equivalent with 5 years
experience. |
 |
Previous
administrative and supervisory experience. |
 |
Child
Welfare experience. |
 |
Ability
to work collaboratively with the community. |
 |
Clear
Criminal Record Check. |
 |
This
position is open to male and female applicants. |

This
position requires Union membership. |
Salary:
Collective Agreement Grid Level 15
