Healthy Babies Program
The Pregnancy Outreach Program - Healthy Babies supports women facing financial and social barriers through their journey towards choices that improve the health of mothers and their babies.
Healthy Babies is a Pregnancy Outreach Program open to pregnant women and women with babies under six months of age. Healthy Babies supports women who need extra help and support and have limited financial resources.
Women are supported to have a healthy pregnancy through our collective cooking activity and a shared lunch. Participants also have access to food vouchers, vitamins, bus tickets, child-minding and community resources.
Healthy Babies operates year round in the communities of Maple Ridge, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam.

A divine intervention
Dianna, a mom to a six year old son and a two month old son was referred to the program by a public health nurse. She loves attending Healthy Babies and meeting up with other moms at the group. She appreciates the support she has received from the Program Coordinator and while dealing with many changes in her life, the Program Coordinator has been that consistent person to offer support.
